do you like your screen name?

Adore it. I'm actually named after a different character from Greek myth, with whom I do not identify AT ALL, so I find it deeply satisfying to rebrand myself as the one who's more "me." Like Freke, I've been using a variation on this handle for about half my life now ....

I don't really have an opinion on mine... I named myself after a friend's horse - the lady I always rode.

I don't pay attention to names any more, I just scroll through for familiar avatars, so changing photos always gets me!

I thought mine was horrid for about the first year I had it. Too pretentious!! However, I think we grow into our names, or our names grow into us. And I love that it has evolved a nickname for those peeps who really know me.

I don't think I'd change it because it's what people know me as here now.

This is bad, but I just realized based on your post, that you no longer have a "last name." I always have loved your name with the "last name!" I guess because I loved the show it was associated with.

To answer the question: I still like my screen name. I use different names on different forums, and I am not crazy about the rest, but I like this one because it's the only one that I actually put some thought into.

I've outgrown the first part of my name. When I was much younger, my SO called me his princess, and I was always hungry, so came the second part. But now I've been promoted to queen of the castle, the first part seems immature. I might just shorten it to pFEEDme because I'm still as ravenous as always.

I just spelled my own name wrong... I was to be MaryK.... Now I'm MayK.... I had an Aunt who was Friday May (yes, born on a Friday in May)... So I guess it's a family name so it will stick....
