Do you have a designer Soul Mate?

In another thread I commented on how I''ve sent another stone to James Meyer to be mounted in one of his creations. I have realized that his designs are perfectly my aesthetic, and having worked with him, I trust him to hit the mark with me on any piece he creates. In fact, I have only one or two other projects I am looking toward completing, one of which is a Christian cross set with a number of mismatched small oec/omc stones I currently own. I''d be happy just sending the parcel to him and telling him to make me a cross no longer than one inch and be content not hearing from him, without quote, design, or pictures, until the piece was done.

It got me wondering if anyone else has found this same kind of sympatico with a designer?

If I had the money, I wouldn''t use anyone else but Leon Mege.

i'm more or less with T-Gal on this one, tho perhaps not as far down the continuum.

i do like variation and there's many different designers i'd love to have pieces from - but i think it'd be 2 from leon - one from everyone else, 2 from leon - 1 from everyone else, and so on.

i have 2 rings and 2 pairs of earrings on the board at the moment. both pairs of earrings are being made by BGD. but both rings are being made by leon. i have a third ring i'm looking at for later on this year. i'd like to get the stones from BGD...and the setting done by leon. i think that's probably the 'sweet spot' for me.
