If you haven''t read my dress backstory (fell in love with a dress that turned out to not be as flattering in photos of me as I thought it looked in real life) this might not make sense...
So, this week I decided that the Valentina was just not doing it for me...even though I am crazy about the lace, it was not the most flattering for my figure. I tried on many more dresses (some, like the monique lhullier, were more flattering but not ''quite right'') and I am 90% sure I am going to go with one of the first dresses I tried on, the Amy Kuschel ingrid (both flattering and having elements that I want, but not 100% lace). Also, the Valentina, while made with amazing french lace, had a polyester lining (POLYESTER! on an almost $5K dress!)
So then, why, when I have decided all this, do I get a pang in my gut when I get an email this afternoon from the consultant saying the valentina is on a list to be discontinued? Almost tearing up a little? How can I be so emotionally attached when I decided it was not the one?
ARGH!
