Do pages load really slowly for you?

At first I thought it was my internet connection, but I seem to be able to load other sites really quickly...

Have you emptied your cache and cookies and double checked your ram? Also your internet strength? Maybe just completely clear all of your history/cookies/cache? That always works for me.

Go to speedtest.net. Click on "begin test." It will test your download and upload speed. My download is about 10-13 Mbps normally. Even when it was way slower, 3-5 it still loaded pricescope pretty quickly.

Perhaps a little virus too! There are tons of reason possible!

Scan your computer with your antivirus and use CCleaner (free) to clean you registry base. It can help for sure.

I have a mac so I'm not prone to as many viruses. Though I do have an antivirus and do use it relatively often.

It was loading other pages fine so I assumed it was a PS-specific problem.

Yes, I saw that. When my internet was slow(er) it always loaded PS (well at least SMTB - so many pics) way slower. All of the pictures and who knows what, slowed it down compared to normal sites. It only takes 20 seconds or so to do the speed test. But its ok...
