Wedding DIY Flowers--where to buy flowers from

Hi everyone! I''m planning on doing some of our flowers myself and was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to where to buy the flowers from. I''m looking for white and pink orchids. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

my friend used fiftyflowers.com, too, and had a really great experience with them. the flowers at her wedding were gorgeous! i noticed you said you were planning on doing SOME of the flowers yourself: if you haven''t already double checked on this, if you have a florist handling most of the flowers, make sure it''s okay to do part of them yourself because some florists have rules against that. what specifically are you going to do on your own?

I already discussed it with my florist and she was okay with it--she''s a friend of the family so she didn''t mind. I''m not planning on doing a whole lot, maybe just some orchids strung onto lights for the chapel. My florist is from out of town and will be coming in the morning of so I''m doing some of the pre-decorating.
