Did you Washington guys see the 787 Dreamliner fly?

The worlds first all composite commercial airliner just had it''s maiden flight about 10 minutes ago. I worked on the 787 program all last year. I watched it fly via webcam, but was wondering if any of you locals caught a glimpse?

Just saw it on AM1070 live coverage! WOOO!!

ETA: ANA will get one of the first shipment, so maybe the next time I visit my family I'll be able to fly in it

It''s so rainy and overcast here, the plane would have been hard to spot today unless you were on the ground at Everett or Boeing Field. This inaugural flight didn''t make nearly the same news splash as the one for the 777, but a lot of things have changed since then.

The weird thing is I could have sworn I saw a plane with similar colors and insignia in the sky a few days ago. I wonder if they did a non-publicized first flight to make sure they didn''t have to cancel the 787 test flight again.

I saw it just as it was passing by my window! I''m so glad I looked up at that exact moment or I would have missed it.
