True for me, too (11 shoe size, 10 1/2 ring size). My wife first told me this when we were wedding ring shopping--she had worked in a jewelry store years ago. I mentioned I had no idea what size ring to try and she just asked what my shoe size was. I must have had a very blank and/or confused look on my face

, because she had to explain that it was how they had always started out sizing men for rings, since most guys have no idea of ring sizing.

Yes, DH and I wear the same size shoe. Size 8 in men''s typically translates to size 10 in women''s.

I''m a womens size 10 and a ring size 7.75. He''s a size 14 shoe...don''t know about rings...yet.

DH is a 10 shoe, 10 ring.

But he has the shortest fingers known to man.

Wouldn''t it be easier for the store to keep a sizer (either the plastic/metal rings or the little tape)?
