Wedding Diamond Theme?

So, i was thinking of having a diamond/bling theme. These are ideas i''ve come up with so far...

- Using flat backed crystals on the invites and programs table plan etc. (DIY)
- Monogram cake topper with crystals on it
- Scatter crystals on the tables at the reception

Anyone got any other ideas for me?
Is anyone else having a theme like this?

That''s a cute theme!! What about sprinkling crystals or having rhinestones placed on the flowers in your bouquets? You could also have crystals on your veil. I''ll try and think of more!

Thanks blair... i''ve seen a fab cake with little diamante''s scattered on the sides etc so i''m going to have that too.

I was thinking of crystals in your hair, in your bouquet, on the tables...

Do you have your dress picked out already? I would love to see a simple dress with sparkly crystals on it (that''s because I''m partial to mine-Casablanca 1831...you have to look close to see the sparklies, but that''s what makes it so special!) or a dress that is TOTALLY blinged out with crystals. I also like the crystal monogram idea...

What about napkins with a diamond in silver on it? You could do all silver and a color with crystals everywhere. I also like the idea of having crystals hanging from the centerpieces, chandeliers, candlesticks, etc... Does that seem too tacky? I tend to lean towards the blingier way of life myself, so can''t be trusted not to overdo it!

I think lovely crystal (or DIAMONDS would be even better!) chandelier earrings, a crystal comb in your hair, a choker...the possibilities are endless!

I also have tealight candleholders in the shape of a diamond...PartyLite makes them, or they used to, but I have a feeling they''d be pretty pricey. When we get back from Maui I''ll look at some of the files on my computer...I think I have some diamond-themed stuff stored on there!
