I need to get my hands on some of this toot-sweet and I''ve found it online but I don''t think I have time for the shipping as we only have about 10 days until the movers come...

Does anyone know what type of store I might be able to find something like this? I found an old dampish box filled with things like my prom dress and my mom''s wedding dress and some of my baby clothes etc. that I want to keep and will be stored for 2-3 years and I want to put some desiccant in the box but I''m not sure what type of store would sell it...

ideas?

Michaels or Hobby Lobby maybe. I know they use dessicant to dry flowers.

oh really? Oh good!! My first thought is always Target but I was trying to think if it was home depot or ??? I don''t have time to go shopping so thanks a bunch! I''ll go there tomorrow and see :)

The Container Store has it - here you go!

I know I have seen this type of product at Target here in Texas as well. I can''t remember if I saw it in the closet aisle, the laundry aisle, or the housecleaning products aisle, though.

Good luck!

AC Moore and Michaels carry silica gel. It is a dessicant. It comes in crystals.

Home Depot carries DampRid (look for it in the paint section) or silica gel for drying flowers in the garden section or better yet a florist will definitely have these.

Camera stores (Ritz camera) will carry silica gel packs, usually blue and will change color as it absorbs moisture. DD takes film photography and places these packs in her camera bag.

You guys are awesome!

I called michaels and they said they didn''t have it - I did wonder if they knew what I was talking about but the woman had gone to ask someone else... I like the ones at the container store - not sure where one is though and that place sounds dangerous to me!!!!! lol

Home Depot & Lowes have this kind of thing too ... not sure about online though.
