I''ve finally lost what was left of my mind...

I''m getting totally hooked on Degrassi Next Generation. The ''old school'' episodes were an occasional guilty pleasure, a bit o'' nostalgia.

On our system, the channel Noggin(the children''s programming part of the day) signs off and switches to N(teen/pre-teen) in the afternoon.

Once i recognized Spike, Joey, Snake and Caitlin all grown up, it was over. I can''t even use my children as an excuse since they''re only 4mos. and 2 years. Not exactly the target audience...well i''ll blame Leo(our oldest) since he watches Noggin. lol.

My current faves are Emma(Spike''s daughter), Liberty and Toby. I''m hoping this will pass. maybe moving back to the US wasn''t such a hot idea after all.

I don't watch the new Degrassi, mostly because I watch very few T.V. shows these days, but I agree that the old school Degrassi rocked!

If the new one is anywhere as good as the old one, then I wouldn't worry about your "Degrassi-itis" too much.

Don''t feel bad, Kaylagee! I am also addicted. I first saw the New Generation at an old boyfriend''s house 5 years ago, and it made me think fondly of the old degrassi my english teacher would show us in High School (he had tapes). When I saw Spike and Snake, I was hooked as well. Have you noticed they also show the old degrassi on the N?
