DC-area appraiser (not Fuller & Assoc)

Can anyone recommend a good appraiser in the DC metro area? I used Martin Fuller for my e-ring, and thought he was great, but since I have several pieces I need appraised for insurance purposes, he''s a bit too expensive for me.

Really sorry your post hasn''t gotten a greater response.

If you didn''t catch it the first time, though, I wanted to remind you about this link Dave Atlas provided not long ago, widening the potential pool of appraisers to reference.

And, if you''re of a mind to, perhaps you can share with any your reach about the 8/20 gathering when the local gem show is happening.

Have you obtained a quote from Martin?

It is normal for Internet diamond appraisals to cost more because all you geeky types insist on examining the poor little stones Tummy Button lint.
