Wedding daydreamer''s pro teaser pics

Hello everyone!

I received some teaser pro pics I''d like to share.

Background: We are in our 40s with 6 children between us (4 mine and 2 his, 18 to 8, 5 boys 1 girl) and obviously not our first marriage. So we ran away just ourselves and our WONDERFUL photographers (www.darrphotography.com) and eloped to the island of St. Lucia on August 8, 2008. (I am in grad school and was in between semesters). We had such an unbelievable time with our photographers and the islanders. We truly came back changed people.

The dress is from Nordstrom''s, Calvin Klein and was under 170.00. Someone here posted it on a thread and I was really having a hard time finding a destination dress. I don''t know who posted it but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
My hair was done by the resort (Sandals Regency) staff with extensions that I purchased on Ebay.

Our photographers were so much fun to work with and we are still keeping in touch even after the wedding. They truly became our friends. We just have these photos and cannot wait to see the rest. They took and are editing over 2000 photos! We get to keep the CDs. They are also getting into the celebrity photography market and are travelling the country doing photography seminars. So, we will have to wait. I know they are worth the wait.

Trashing the dress was sooo sooo much fun. He dipped me and then a huge wave came crashing in and I went diving.. The photographers thought I was going to be so mad but as you see I thought it was hilarious!

Thanks Bee and Fire! The TTD shoot was a blast. We even jumped into the main pool! Another couple who got married the same day we did saw us jumping in the pool and the groom was so upset and mad at his bride because he wanted to TTD but she didn''t.. so they didn''t and he was the jealous one!

Aww.... that is sooo sweet! You don''t sound lame nor are you lame. I give credit to genetics first then trying to make the right choices by being active. It''s soooo hard!

Hey! 40 is the new 30...isn't that what they say?

Daydreamer, you go, girl. I share your decade, and I agree, it IS hard to stay in shape, and it's so nice when you get these sorts of compliments.

You look fantastic, and granted I am younger- I think being fit and healthy is quite the battle!
I am just really taken aback by your shoulders/arm! They look fabulous!

Thank you! I agree that 40 is the new 30. And I thought the 30s were liberating... 40s are a BLAST! And you are right, it is very nice to get these compliments. I work in the medical field and try to set an example for my patients. I would feel like a big hippocrite if I was giving advice or educating someone and not doing it myself.

Thank you! As far as I know they don''t make the dress anymore. I had the "bustle" handstitched in because there was a very small train and I did not want it to drag on the sand or catch on something. After the TTD shoot, I just rinsed it off and it is good as new. It''s still hanging in my closet...

. I think I will put it on Ebay.

Thank you! Being fit and healthy is what life is all about- a healthy mind and body. Treat yourself like you are your best friend because YOU ARE. A doctor I work with says... treat yourself like a Maserati. Would you put 87 rated gasoline in the car. NO!! so why would you feed yourself crap! I love the look on people''s faces when she says that!
