Close family friends just got a new aussie shepherd pup and sent me this pic.

I am dying and want to SQUEEZE HIM!!!! That face! That coloring!

Aussie and Aussie mixes make GREAT pets, you probably already know that though. We have an Aussie/Golden mix named Merlin and he is a freakin ham.

This guy is absolutely adorable, love that coloring. Do you know his name?

hmm, not sure about name! Their last aussie was named Charlie Rose, so they seem to like "real" names, rather than the hilarious ones I come up with

He is so freaking snuggle-rific! One of my local jewelers has one, and he brings it into the store just about every day. Customers fawn all over him, myself included.

Lovedogs, thanks for posting. I really needed this "dose of cute" so many posts in so many of these threads are just so repetitive and tiresome This made me smile!

We had an Australian Shepherd named Muffin when I was growing up; from the time I was 4 til I left for college. She was the sweetest dog and so amazing on my family's farm. She befriended all the horses and cows and other farm animals and kind of corralled them as needed (as shepherds/working dogs will do!) without being nippy or bitey. She was also a HUGE photobomber. Every picture my mom took of us kids, there was Muffin right in front like HEY GUYS LOOK AT ME.
Lovedogs, that puppy is gorgeous and I want to squeeze him too!!!
