Dad photographs son from birth to 21 years: video link

that is very cool! I know everyone says it flies but it really does! cuddle those babies a little longer!!!

That's too cool!! I always loved the time lapses people do....love the pregnant bellies ones a lot too!

not a bad looking chap at all!

What an amazingly dedicated Dad - I bet there were days when he just didn't want to do it, but the sheer consistency with which he did (and the son put up with it!) is impressive. A labor of love for sure - I just wanted him to slow the photos down so I could really get a good look at him!

Me too, Minousbijoux!! It started at a good pace, then really whizzed by and I was trying to input all those changes! Every now and then you'd get that flash of a sketch, too - must have been the days when son said 'oh DAD!! do we have to???" :lol:

I wish I'd been clever enough to do something like that - in my mind, it seems like that's the speed that my kids have grown. They were babies, then little, now they are real PEOPLE! Yikes! I want the babies back....

How cool! It makes me cherish the time I have with DD when she is little, and also excited to see the young woman she will turn into!

That's beautiful ::)

It reminds me of another story I read - I think it was posted here, actually? - of a father who had all his daughter's teachers write a note in a Dr. Seuss book and gave it to her at graduation - labours of love ::)

Whoa! That's absolutely amazing. Although, I showed it to my husband and he thought it was "creepy." :rolleyes: (He's one who doesn't approve of compromising minors' privacy, though.) I think it took an incredible amount of dedication and commitment by that family. I have over 500 pics of my 4.5 month old daughter in my phone and every day I feel like I haven't taken enough photos of her. ;))

I have heard of that! I saw it on Pinterest a few times recently--the book is indeed by Dr. Seuss, and the title is "Oh, The Places You'll Go." The idea is to have the book signed by every one of your child's teachers throughout their grade school education, so that when they graduate high school you can give them the book as a surprise gift and they can read all of their teachers' messages to them. I think it's a FANTASTIC idea! However, I feel like since it's been a popular idea on Pinterest, teachers are going to be inundated with requests to do this and where the heck will they find the time for this trend?! Hopefully parents will sneak the book in during sporadic times of the school year and not just during the last month. Or something...
