I don''t really want anything right now!
6.gif
[GASP.] How is this possible? My bank account wants to know.

-ruby bezel band like the wf/bgd ones
-pear drop danglies for my studs
-GETTING MY NEW E-RING ON MY FINGER

I also want a five stone u prong ring. I think they''re just gorgeous. Since my five year wedding anniversary is coming up in May, do you think I can justify getting it?

[GASP.] How is this possible? My bank account wants to know.

Ha, I don''t know! I guess lately I''ve just been more into house stuff? There are things I love, but nothing I''m really jonesing for, you know?

I''m actually not super blingy in real life so I can''t picture myself with anything more than what I already wear. I have my e-ring, wedding band, bezel set studs and a 5 stone diamond ring I got from my grandmother. I tend to wear longer necklaces so I don''t think I would wear a diamond necklace, and that''s all I''m really missing that I would actually wear. (Bracelets get on my nerves.)

So...there you go! Tell your bank account!

I really want diamond halo earring jackets for my studs (the ones Bliss has are saved in my mind because I think they''re gorgeous!). I had been obsessing over a diamond bracelet for the longest time, but DH just got me my bangle for our anniversary so I''m totally happy with that now! Next up (probably not for a while though) is a pair of jackets for my earrings.
1.gif

there are two projects that ive been thinking about for some time...
1-finding the right platinum mounting for gents ring to hold the 1/2 carat diamond from my mothers engagement ring.
2- find a ruby...its the only gem stone i don''t have in the collection.would love it to be approx.2 carats, oval shaped and either faceted or cab cut.

I really want my new setting to be done soon!!!!
Then after that, i''ll be a happy camper!

. And I still want that dern bezeled Tiffany Lucida solitaire necklace (or similar generic version) and a Jaeger Reverso Duo watch. That''s it. Thanks muchly.

My problem isn''t always wanting *new* stuff -- its not being able to afford the stuff I ALREADY WANT & not wanting the stuff I *can* afford.

At least I love the stuff I ALREADY HAVE. That''s something!!

.37ctw OEC 3-prong martini studs. I have the stones, I just have to save up for the settings. It feels like it''s taking forever.

If this was my size I already would have bought it:-) DH would not be happy

If I got it made custom in the future, if I could find them and afford it, I would change the cognac diamonds to padparadascha sapphire melee

If not, the cognac are lovely too!

Bella, that ring is GORGEOUS!!!

I''m COMPLETELY jonesing for a 2 ct OEC. I''ve been hounding DH about it for awhile now and I hope to break him down soon...
31.gif

And after I get my paws on an OEC, I have my sights on an eternity band with rose cut diamonds and sapphires, like this one from JbEG.

I am totally obsessed with my diamond eternity wedding band. Just ordered it yesterday so it will take 8-10 weeks until I see the finished product. Argh!

I am also craving a pink diamond micropave eternity in rose gold. Maybe for our 1 year anniversary next year!

Oh, and the 8 ct E/IF cushion in the micropave halo setting I tried on at Harry Winston this weekend would be super too!
18.gif

I have a few things I''ve been eyeing -

From Cartier I want the entrelaces rose gold ring and the xxs small trinity ring
I''d also like a rose gold key necklace and bezel set aquamarine studs

My next big jewelry purchase though will probably be a watch for DH''s graduation next year

I don't really want anything right now!
6.gif
Same here!

Well, I don't want anything even remotely attainable in the near future. *someday* I want a 5 stone RHR. But that particular funding is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way off. So, I'm good at the moment!

ETA: Also, I hate bracelets (can't stand stuff on my wrists) I wear my .25 tcw martinis and my scattered diamond hoops just about every day, not really a necklace person (unless we're talking Gypsy's BGD pendant, which I can't afford, LOL), and my ering just got reset last year. So until I chew my way through this setting, I should be good to go!

Ering
diamond studs
colored stone anything
getting my little emerald

I was fixated on a new watch, but I got one this weekend at Fossil (for a steal!), so I'm good now
12.gif

ETA: I forgot I was obsessed with a plain wedding band until recently when I found one for a good deal as well!

My list is getting longer all the time. Somewhere near the top are two slender, bead set eternity bands to wear with my current solitaire (about 1 ct each), followed by these: diamond huggie earrings; some beautiful tahitians; DBTY necklace; a set of stacking rings in from Single Stone, each with alternating diamonds and colored stones from our birthstones (sapphires in one, emeralds in another, rubies, and yellow sapphires). In the more distant future, I''d like a fabulous tennis bracelet with each RB diamond set in a little square of WG with miligrained edges.

That should be enough to keep me busy for a while!

Bezel studs. Fixated is probably the perfect way to describe how I feel about them.

I love kittybean''s new pendant and have started saving for a pendant.

I am also starting to lurk in Colored Stones. I don''t feel like I know enough yet to start buying, but I will soon!

I''m amazed at those who don''t want anything. I just called Lesley for a 2.5 carat bangle, she''s qouting me on it. I''m pretty excited.

So many classic items wanted here. It''s interesting how many people want everyday wear items instead of dress up items. For bling addicts, we seem to be a practical lot.

I really want a Cartier love bangle right now, but I don''t know whether the fact that it is so hard to remove will annoy me. If anyone wears one would love to hear your experience!

Deco... Are you wanting real Cartier earrings, or would inspired-by's work? The Lucida bezel necklace would be lovely... but I have a feeling a weird feeling (I went to the denist yesterday and I'm on a painkiller right now, so 'weird feeling' is pretty much par for the course) you are going to get the Lucida eventually. Everytime I see one on sale second hand I think of you. I know nothing about watches though... link me? You are a responsible lady, you have a great house, and are always so sensible it seems. Could you start socking away 50 bucks a month? And then double that on special occassion months (anniversary, wedding and christmas?).
Eh, I'd could be game for inspired bys. (Don't tell Marian!) Holler if you see some! I hope you're right about the Lucida! Re: the saving plan idea -- I'll take it under advisement. My main problem with saving for any of my most desired items is that I TRULY feel that they are all VERY overpriced. Can't be certain I'll find that 2nd hand Lucida bargain, yanno? So hard to commit the funds towards *that* when getting one for a price I'd feel comfortable with is a dicey proposition at best. The Cartiers - gah -- I just couldn't do it even if there was that lump sum in the bank no strings attached. When I find something I want that seems reasonable, I'm a like a dog w/a bone. Its the fringe dream items that stick around, haunting me.

ooh have you decided on a bangle gypsy? I missed that!

I don''t know for sure yssie, that''s why I''m getting a quote. On the one hand, since so many of the pieces I sold were bracelets (including my baby bracelets) I feel like a grown up bracelet is the best thing I can get. On the other hand I really want a garland band. Bad. I would have to save up a bit for the bangle... the carat weight I can afford right now isn''t big enough for my greedy jewel junkie self. So I''m getting the qoute to clarify in my mind what I want.

Deco, inspired bys are a great idea. I love the idea of rose gold inspired bys. I really think you should go for .40 ctw (5 pointers) in rose gold and add some milgrain. They would be pretty and reasonably affordable. But if you didn''t want custom

As for a lucida... ebay and signed pieces and pearlmans.

I''m dying for a u-prong 5 stone ring. I love the ringer coverage. I''m saving for it. I''ve got about 2/3 of the money that I think I need.

who are you looking at to make it, april?

Deco: Have you priced these out in H/I SI melee? http://www.adwar.com/products/styles/E3428/view

Or these! http://www.adwar.com/products/styles/E3281/view
Pretty! I had not seen those. THANKS! I''m really attracted to the asymmetry of Cartier version though so I''d probably have to do custom. A local jeweler I really like was willing to do a two clusters of four bezeled stones in rose gold in the asymmetrical configuration I like best for $800 +/- so I''m keeping that in the back of my mind. No lotus-y goodness but *closeISH*. The stones wouldn''t be super ideal fizz whizz boom bam.

I think a bangle will be amazing! Especially since you know so specifically what you want in the tennis bracelet of the future. Good luck with the quote!! For some reason the Garland Ring doesn''t jump out at me as much -- and it doesn''t jump right into my pocket either ... maybe that''s what I have against it.

my itches are getting pretty well scratched by my new leon mege eternity wedding ring which i havent even SEEN yet, and by my new BGD pearl and diamond drop earrings which should be ready in the next week or so.

i then need to either set my 5 stone ring or recut my 1.12stone and get side stones and make a move with that. we''ll see :)

i''m very happy with the jewelry that i have, tho, so i''m not chewing off my own hands to get to anything in particular.

You know, I''ve noticed that signed pieces hasn''t had much Tiffany''s lately. Something''s up over there, no? Ditto Pearlmans & ebay (at least as far as the necklaces go). I''ve even considered buying an e-ring and resetting the stone (as I believe Harriet did with her own original e-ring) but haven''t found the right steal yet. And would frankly prefer not to have to go the custom route for the octagonal bezel (tricky! sometimes awfully executed!). If you EVER see one or anyone EVER sees one -- hit me up on my Raspberry, I mean Blackberry, I mean a paging thread on here I guess.

I specially like the second earrings!

Whitby, I can't wait for pics of both pieces! I know they are going to be stunning. How was your experience working with Leon? Five stones and seven stone... Neatfreaks five stone is the most beautiful one I've ever seen, you should take a look. But a large part of my attraction is with her discoball diamonds. They are just out of this world. I think a recut and reset with sidestones sounds fantastic. It is great to love the pieces you have, but also nothing wrong with a little spit and polish (or recut and reset) on them now, is there.
27.gif

Deco, you could always have the jeweler knock the adwar settings about till they aren't symmetrical anymore.
9.gif
. The asymmetry on the original is lovely. And 800 is nice. My earrings aren't superidealfragilistic but I am thrilled with them. They are sparkly as all heck and bright and blingy. My diamonds in my seven stone aren't even as nice as those and as long as I keep them clean, they look lovely and honestly much nicer than 98% of what is out there. Clean diamonds are happy sparkly diamonds. So as long as you keep them clean... why not?

As for the garland band. I've been drawn to similar bands to it for a WHILE. I was in love with one from Kwait that a local jeweler carried, but it cost MORE and WAY less carat wieght, so... what's a jewel junkie to do? I transferred my affections. If I got it, I would change the placement of the prongs on the melee and make them claw prongs and super duper tiny. And I would use my diamonds from my seven stone to make it more affordable. The bangle will be amazing I think. I just need to make sure the actual bangle part will be large enough, so Lesley is sending me out the one carat version so I can see how it fits on my wrist (I promise I will post pics). I have a bonus coming so I could get the 2 carat total weight like right now... but I want to see if I can eek out another .5 carats. The 3 carat bangle was out of budget, unfortunately. And it's not leaping into my pocket anytime soon!

ETA: You are right about Tiffany. I haven't seen a lot of their stuff about at all. Topazery has one of their bands, but that's it. Hmmm... will keep an eye out for you though. Promise.

ETA II: I agree about the octagonal bezels btw. I would be completely totally anal about that, and would let my jeweler know it. But I think someone with a good CAD set up and a meticulous bench, and a REALLY in depth understanding of how anal a PSer can be could do it.

An asscher WB, with around .10 pointers (kinda like the ones on BN) and a Tiffany Jazz band (or a lovely replica from one of our vendors)
