There is a lot of info out there. Here are a few links I hope you find helpful. And please feel free to share any info you have re keeping things clean. Thanks.

This link provides interesting info...washing one's phone with soap and water.

and another link re washing one's hands properly and the strong reminder re not touching one's face

I have a big tub of Dr. Bonner’s peppermint Castile soap. I keep it on hand because it can be used for everything from regular body wash to shampoo, to toothpaste, cleaning the floor or counters...

I’m unable to find ANY antibacterial soap in stores, but so many sources say thorough hand washing with regular soap is fine too. Not sure what to believe anymore!

I do not think antibacterial soap is superior to regular soap in *any* way. Do not waste energy looking for it. I think it provides no special benefit. Please correct me if I am wrong anyone.

FYI

Well, antibacterial soap still won't kill viruses, so I think Dr. Bonner's is fine.

The key is washing your hands long enough.

I've got nearly a full drum of Isopropyl Alcohol down the shed, I used to sell the stuff to makeup artist in small containers for brush cleaner, it's the good not watered down version that kills bacteria, so I might start using it to clean things.

Be careful using alcohol products on phone screens (unless protected with a glass protection film) - the BBC Click program (IIRC) demonstrated that it can strip the anti-fingerprint-and-grease layer off screens.

I've ranted before  but I hate all these 'Kills 99.99999999% of everything!!!!!11!1' products.

Why is necessary to remove the very things that your body's immune system needs in order to build up a tolerance to dirt and germs?

It's like living in a giant plastic bubble and then wondering why the common cold nearly killed you when you stepped out, lol.

Kids should play in mud to build their immune systems and we should stop encouraging the development of antibiotic-resistant super-infections!!
