Tawn, It did go by pretty quickly, especially the last 10. We have been together a total of 24 years so that over half my life.

Sundial, don''t EVEN get me started on the golf. He is going back to Nantucket to play in the Fall classic later this month. I told him I''d give HIM a fall classsic!!!

A little late, but better than never. Happy Anniversary Lisa!!

Wow, 19 years...I hope for many more blissful years to come. Enjoy!

I think you need to shop agressively the entire time he is away golfing! After all it is still your anniversary month and you have to do SOMETHING with all that free time while he is gone!

Thanks Milly, we had a very nice romantic dinner and hope to do that more often!!!! We let our evil teenagers fend for themselves, Lol!!!!

Sundial, I couldn''t agree more!!! Every time a bill comes and he nags me about it, I just add up all his golfing trips and tell him to HUSH UP!!!

Our neighbors just celebrated their SIXTY-FIRST anniversary last week. Amazing!

I congratulate Lisa. My parents hit 61 years in 2002. If they live and do not divorce before the middle of next month (October, 2005) they will be celebrating 64 years. Since they were both patched up again this summer and have no major health problems, I would say the odds of their living to celebrate a 64th anniversary are good :-).

My mother has never owned any expensive jewelry and I am having earrings custom made by my local jeweler (Jim Grunberger) to match a pastel necklace I am buying for her. It is just topazes and other inexpensive stones, but it is more expensive than anything she ever bought for herself. It has a lot of light blue stones that will match her beautiful blue eyes. As I wrote this, I realized I could give her the set for her anniversary. (It had been meant as a "just because" gift.)
