Thank you, ladies. I had a thought last week about setting my square cushion tsavorite flanked next to 2 hot pink sapphire baguettes (north south) orientation. What do you think? My cushion has a fancy portugese like pavilion though. It’ll be the opposite of the colours you see in this Leon picture.

I''ve been vaguely contemplating this color combination with my mahenge spinel. My hangup, though, is that I might get bored of it. Not "classic" enough, I suppose. But then, my mahenge might just be a bit too close too red (as much as I love Christmas, I don''t think it''s a look I want in a ring!)

I would not do this combination with the Mahenge. Not because it isn’t classic enough but because it sometimes shows red which will throw off the look. I think diamond sidestones are best suited for the Mahenge. My hot pink sapphire baguettes are going to take a while. Pink sapphire baguettes aren’t the issue - the hot pink colour is.
