Hoping you could help me with a small diamond ring dilemma. I am looking at getting a diamond online with 0.9 carats and have narrowed my selection to an E colour VS2 or F colour VS1. Planning to put diamond in a North Star setting (see link http://www.77diamonds.com/classic_rings.html).
Am I better off trading off E for F colour to improve clarity from VS2 to VS1?
Should I be worried about seeing inclusions in the VS2 diamond particularly given the setting leaves diamond quite exposed on the top and side. If so, which inclusions should I avoid (cloud, feather etc).
