I can''t seem to think up any colour ideas that would be suitable for both BM dresses and flowers. Suggestions?

So far I''ve come up with:
1) Ice blue, silver + white
2) Brown + pale pink

...But my combos seem a little "bla" to me

I thought picking a colour scheme would be so easy, but there''s so much to consider.

What are some nice combos? Thanks

do you know your location/theme yet?

We did mint green and pink with white flowers. The flowers of course had hints of green in the stems and whatnot so it went together very well!

A friend of mine did champagne dresses and pink and white flowers.

I don't really think there will be a theme but it will be a May or June wedding. I'm thinking we may have it either here:

I am doing chocolate brown, sage green, cream, and fuschia. Another combos is Tiffany blue, cream and red (it was "wow", featured on a wedding show I saw last nite). You want one color that "pops." Partly will depend on time of year and how formal your event is.

What are your favorite colors? What are FI''s favorite colors?

Go take a look at the "photos" section of ProjectWedding.com for more inspiration.

Do you have a favorite flower? If so, you could base your colors on what colors those flowers come in...

Halo - I agree with msb that you need a pop color, I think you were already leaning towards that though. I''m studying interior design and a lot of the color combination training transfers to fashion - obviously with both fields using fabric. If youre having trouble picking out colors you like stray away from looking at colors matched on dresses and start tearing out pictures of anything that are visually appealing to you in color - landscapes, interiors, florals, fashion lines. Identify, or ask a third party to identify colors and then bring it back to the bridesmaids dress and see if you like how it looks in fabric. Sometimes it takes a little tweaking of a color - starting with a light blue and pumping it up to a slate blue - to really discover a captivating color combo. Hope that helps a little! Gorgeous locations by the way
