Clyde has crossed the Rainbow Bridge

We lost our precious Clyde on Sunday, December 18. He started having grand mal seizures and there was nothing we could do to save him. He was 12 years old and the emergency vet called him an "old man" and he was our precious Big Boy. Ken and I are truly heartbroken and our family isn't the same without our little man.

His sister, Bonnie, is having a hard time and she is grieving the loss of her brother. We are having to sedate her. Please say a prayer for Bonnie.

I don't know you and I'm starting to cry. This is such a universal tragedy. Why can't pets live longer? They're a very sophisticated life form and they live for such a short amount of time. I just can't tell you how sad I feel right now. I''m so sorry for all of your loss. I really I am. My cat's four and when this day comes I'm going to be brave and then I''m going to walk back to my car and collapse on the floor in tears. It's going to be terrible, on a need to know basis lest they haul a grown man away to a padded room. It's just so sad. It's just so unfair for them. Life just doesn't make sense sometimes.

I am very sorry, Lori. All I can say is that I have been there with dogs I loved very deeply and I feel for you in your suffering. I will certainly pray for Clyde and Bonnie.
