With 4 kids ranging between 5 and 13 I should buy stock in Magic Erasers! Things I've cleaned with them:

*our red porcelain kitchen sink
*Kool-Aid and coffee/tea stains on the white formica countertops
*The stuck on stuff left behind on our glass kitchen table by the children (spritz the table first with a solution of 1 part Lysol lemon all-purpose cleaner 4 or 5 parts hot water, go over it with the ME, wipe down with paper towels, respritz with rubbing alcohol and dry with paper towels or a nice soft old cloth baby diaper). Gets the dried oatmeal and pancake syrup right off!
*Dried Toothpaste off the kids' bathroom counter
*Inside the refridgerator (works wonders on the mystery stuff you find all the way in the back of the shelves!)
*Outside of the fridge
*dirty sneakers
*really dirty (we have 3 Staffies) glass doors (do same way as kitchen table)
*the schmutz that accumulates inside the washer lid
*textured hanging lamps that don't get cleaned too often
*bathroom sinks, tubs, tiles
*baby's high chair
*toys that weren't supposed to be outdoor toys
*coffee pot
*hard plastic dog bowl
*pots with stuck on stuff that I didn't want to use brillo on

That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there's more I'm not remembering because I'm tired.

Now, can someone tell me how to quickly and efficiently clean the hard tile floor tomorrow when the fridge that hasn't moved in five years is hauled away? I'm afraid to see what lurks beneath!

Oh, and a fine-mist spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and old cloth diapers are wonder tools for glass and tile surfaces, as well as mirrors. Takes all the finger prints right off, leaves no streaks.

When I worked for Christian Bernard in Charlotte, I learned that trick. We used diaper cloths and alcohol to keep the cases sparkling. ;)

This might be a dumb question but do magic erasers just get rid of gunk or do they actually clean surfaces after the gunk is removed? I'd be tempted to get rid of a mark or spot with a ME but then go over it again with some type of cleaner.
