I’m coming up on my 50th birthday and 25th anniversary and decided to change my engagement ring. I very recently had the VC ring made, and it is perfect in every way, but I’m just not a solitaire girl. I love detailed settings. But the tranny is so perfect in the setting, as if they meant for each other and I just can’t separate them. I’m hoping it goes to a good home. I’ve always had a round engagement ring, and I feel like I want to change shape. Not sure what yet- an EC, an asscher or a cushion maybe?

I just have a lot of pieces that I don’t wear anymore, and some I’ve even forgotten about. Mostly rings, and I only wear rings on my ring finger, and lately I don’t wear anything but a wedding band. Seems a shame that they just sit in a safe.

I absolutely love the VC ring and am glad you are selling it intact! Someone will be thrilled to get it! I totally understand. It sometimes takes trying something to find out what we really want! I think a large EC or antique cushion would be fabulous! Oh, if I could only have about 5 e-rings!!! It's hard to decide! I'll look forward to seeing what you get for your special birthday and anniversary!

I also agree with letting go of things we don't wear. Like you, 99% of the time, I only wear rings on my left ring finger, also!!! I am having trouble even committing to a final setting for my AVR! I'm just saving the extra rings that my daughters have expressed interest in having and will gift them on special birthdays, I suppose.
