I am glad it works for you!!! Just like Wen ruined my hair, this thing ruined my face! Ive spent the last year trying to undo it.

I bought it as kind of a half joke because I'm a skeptic. So I did a 30 day test (which ended yesterday)

Right away, my skin felt nicer. But skin feeling nicer can be done with a washcloth and soap.

At the two week mark, I was SURE that it was getting rid of blackheads. Well, I had taken "before" pics and took a 2 week pic of the side of my nose to check. There wasn't a SINGLE difference. I could zoom in and chart the blackheads, and it was all still there. It's amazing that the mind can play tricks if you really want to believe it.

However, I had bought this because there were reviews that it gets rid of milia. Milia usually has to be removed by a dermatologist. I had a facefull, and picking at them only aggravated them and did nothing to get rid of it (because there is no opening for them to escape). A month later, I am nearly milia free. Now, the clarisonic didn't slough them away, but it did get the skin thin and soft enough for me to run my nail over it and pop them out (not hygenic, I know, but still.) From week one, a lot of them started to get picked off without much effort.

I also give credit to the fact that it's fun to use, easy to do in the shower and actually does make me clean my face often (which I had been slack at doing before).

I ended up getting a lancet/blackhead tool, and it works very well after a nice hot shower and the clarisonic. I've gotten rid of a ton of blackheads that way.

So overall, I would say it's not a miracle worker for me, but an excellent tool in the arsenal. The blackhead removed leaves some big divots sometimes, and the clarisonic keeps the pores clean until they shrink up a bit.

I have the Clarisonic plus and I love it, especially if I have worked a double shift and my makeup feels like it's sinking into my skin.
I found the best thing for keeping my pores cleared though, believe it or not, is running. The climate where I live is SO dry and I'm oily, it's a terrible combination.
When I started running my skin completely changed in about two weeks and I couldn't find a clogged pore, I thought it was a coincidence.
I stopped for a couple of weeks and I started to get congested again, got back running and they are clear again.
Seems like sweating profusely clears my skin better than any potion or tool, but I do like this a lot for makeup removal.

I don't have a clarisonic, my sister swears by it, but just wanted ditto the above bold part as that totally works for me too. I don't have particularly oily skin - but sweating reallly clears my skin. It's the best. I want to get one of those home spa things with the hot steam, you know like being in a wet sauna but just for the face.

I am glad you like it Starshine! I love mine and I have purchased them for all five of my kids. It is a gentle exfoliant and I think it is
essential. I have both a Mia and and full size and I do like the full size better. I think it has a little more power. They also have a new brush
that is a better exfoliator. It is not the answer to everything but it sure helps. I find that if I concentrate longer on an area that has blackheads, I can reduce them greatly, but I have to keep focusing on that area every day. If I miss a few days/weeks they come back.

I wouldn't be without it!

Definitely worth a try!

I've been thinking about buying one of these! It's nice to read a few real reviews. Those blackhead tools don' work for me, but what does work are lancers, the smallest ones they make-- you know theory are the tiny needles diabetics use for pricking their fingers. Anyway my esticician uses them so I copy catted off her. ;) 'y daughter saw me using it one day and said WHAT are you doing???? Like I was crazy or something. Ha! Now she uses them too...lol.

Where's the least expensive place to buy the Clarisonic?

QVC has great deals and includes the most stuff with it.

Not a miracle worker for me either. But it's a great tool. I don't regret the money, but don't recommend it automatically for everyone either.
