It's getting to be that special time of the year again...Christmas season!!! So what's on everyone's wish list this year?

I'll go first! Here's mine:
--BGD studs (0.79 G VS-2, 0.80 G VS-2) in WG martini settings
--2 stacking VC U cut shallow single cut pave eternity bands

Happy Holidays everyone!

I'd like to take apart my 1ctw princess cut 3 stone and make a pendant (or add it to the center of my dbty necklace) and a pair of earrings. I'd also LOVE an approximately 3/4 ct OEC to put into a milgrain pendant, but that's way off in the not so distant future. Other than that, I'm working towards consolidating my collection and getting rid of some of the things I never wear.

I have no bling on my list. I need a new stove/oven, a new dishwasher, and would like to update my creativeSuite to the newest one. None of which are cheap OR exciting. lol

Want a half drilled Peacock or Silver Tahitian AAA pearl from Pearl Paradise 10mm or larger. Then I plan on having it set in a pendant later on.

But I don't know if I'll get it. I included a bunch of other things on my wish list as well... including several really cute purses. Which I would love as well.

DH and I are splurging and getting the best seats we can for the Mythbusters LIVE tour when it comes to DC.

Aside from that we probably won't buy anything, so I'm not putting a list together.

A Jewel Jet

I want a freshadama set from Pearlparadise but, I don't think that's going to happen this year since we're still adjusting to the increases in health insurance premiums and childcare costs from the arrival of our son...I keep hoping one will pop-up on the secondary market :Up_to_something:

Unfortunately bling can't go on my wishlist this year... We are redoing our kitchen and finishing our basement (kitchen will be done by thanksgiving & basement will be done by Feb)... So new furniture, granite, carpet, etc ae filling up our holiday spending money budget...

I'd love to reset my engagement ring and get a bezel milgrain rose gold eternity ring for my wedding band - neither is going to happen haha but you did say "wish" list!

I want these faux fur booties from Restoration Hardware:

Every time I see them I have a vision of myself curled up in my reading chair, dogs and cats snuggled all around me, a mug of something steaming on the side table, and a book in my hands. I have an entire month off during winter break, I could get a lot of use out of them.

Light grey, please.

I have seen some pop up from time to time! I hope one pops up there before the holidays!

I don't know what I want. I have money from last Christmas and my birthday saved. I guess since I don't leave the house much I figure I have time to wait and find what I really really want. Maybe it is good to hang on to the extra cash for a bit?

A green leather purse from Etsy.

Airline miles! Bling is not a priority this year, and my bank account is trying to recover from a major vacation and I'm trying to save up for at least one but hopefully two trips in the next 6 months.

I'm happily stumped!

ooooh! I saw those today in person. I kind of want the faux-fur throw blanket. It was so soft and cozy, but I'm afraid it might look a tad 'pimpy'

Tuffy--I want the blanket, too! I have a dark brown throw blanket that is kind of like a shorter, less fur-like version, and I love it. (I'm sitting on it right now, actually.) I think we're just going to buy the throw blanket next week at the RH friends and family event. (20% off everything!!!!)

Can't you just see a lazy afternoon under the blanket with your tootsies all warm in the slippers? Yes, please!

A BFP and a "pass" for the bar exam, please!

That blanket is sooooo super cozy! I'm going to have to check out that sale--we saw a leather desk chair that was super comfy and we need new towel racks. I live their towels too, but I'll probably ending up buying those from TJ Maxx HomeGoods--also obsessed!!!

Ugh i can't decide what to do!

I really want and need a new purse. I have my eye on a Coach (I know there are better brands out there but I love Coach).

However, we really need a better camera. So the question is do we do separate gifts so that I get my purse and he gets whatever he wants OR we do a joint gift (we usually do) and get a camera? I guess we have time to decide.

Other than that, nothing.

We use RH towels, too!
We just bought their 9' Belgian Roll Arm sofa, it's amazing. It's filled with down feathers. *heaven*
I might be a tad obsessed with Restoration Hardware. I can admit it.

I'd take a WG diamond studded mid-sized Rolex watch AND a couple of Kellys/ Birkins please!! :naughty:

I'd prob end up with a much much cheaper watch and if I am lucky, just one Kelly. :wink2: :))

Hello my homeware twinsie--we bought a down-filled sofa about 6 months ago and it's divine! There is a manufacturer near us that can make copies of furniture. We had them make a smaller version of the pottery barn basic with slipcover and down-filled and it cost about $800 less than the PB version. We sat on at least 100 couches on our quest to find the most comfortable and down was by far the best. We love that thing. *love*

Our dream sofa is the Lancaster from RH... just had to let you know :D We'd stop into the RH in the mall just to sit on it and imagine that the showroom floor was our living room LOL

No bling for me... I want a new ski jacket and a new Kindle. DH gets a new ski outfit as well.

Five stone....

Not sure yet...I love the thrill of the hunt and the anticipation of what I might want. :appl:

What I think I will be doing (and what I have done for many years so far) is to save up a few occasions and then choose one gift that really means something to me. Our anniversary is Nov 13th and then there is Hanukkah and then Christmas and then Valentine's Day. I usually save up all those holidays for one meaningful gift. That's probably what I am doing again especially as I ordered custom earrings as part of my birthday gift (August) and they were delayed and I still don't have them! So I wouldn't want to get those and then immediately get another. I like the anticipation of another gift or else I will have none to look forward to until the summer of next year!

Most likely it will be jewelry though. :Up_to_something:

I am in love with Restoration Hardware sheets!! They are so so soft and delicious and though they are expensive they are worth it! Unfortunately our cats really destroy them but luckily we have many extras! :cheeky:
I also love their furniture- we have one of their coffee tables and it is very well made and nice to look at too!

ame I want a second dishwasher so badly! I simply cannot stomach wasting my time and energy unloading and reloading the thing every other day.. I don't know why it bothers me so much, it takes all of fifteen minutes, but it's just *that* chore that sets my teeth on edge! I've even designated which cabinets to rip out... unfortunately I'm going to have to wait at least a few more months though, sadly.

No bling on my wish list this year. DH is having trouble with his shoulder and ankle, and might need surgery on both, so - I'm just hoping for quick procedures and a smooth recovery. And that he'll be fully functional afterward! If things go well we might go to Disney World.. that's a big question mark though.

I want to replace my rattier-by-the-day NorthFace fleece. I think I'd like a darker color this time, probably black. Mine is currently light blue and shows dirt quite easily.

My coworker's wife has the most perfect brown riding boots from Frye that I fell in love with at first site. Unfortunatley they cost more than I normally spend on shoes in a year. That's a long shot wish. I don't feel comfortable asking anyone beyond my husband for something that pricey but we agreed to go light this year thanks to our super expensive vacation (that was like... $1500 more than we intended to spend... oops).

I was going to ask for a new purse, too. But I just bought that for myself with my own fun money account.

I'm getting my DH tickets to that Mythbusters tour (thanks for the idea, V!). Not sure what else I want to get him. He always needs new clothes but I get tons for him every year. I'm just waiting for my ILs to ask me what to get him so I can pass that on to them.

ETA: I need the 5th stone for my graduated 5-stone ring that I've been collecting stones for since early Spring. Sooo if anyone feels like chipping in for a 4 mm OMC that matches my other OMCs, I'd be elated!
