Anyone up for trying again? I won''t be around for Thanksgiving or Christmas but sometime before would be great - suggestions for dates and places?

I am up for it. I will go downtown if we can go near Union Station. (I don''t do downtown very often) Or one of the burbs is even better! I am in Naperville.

I''m in for a Chicago GTG! I''ve missed so many in the past, I really want to attend one.

Downtown would be perfect, I can hop on a train to Ogilvie Center. I''m in the northern burbs.

Can someone fill me in on what has been done in past Chicago GTG? Browsing jewelry shops or just lunching or drinking together?

I saw the SF girls are doing tea at the Ritz. We could do tea, also. Maybe at one of the hotels or at the Russian Tea Room downtown? It''s kind of near Millennium Park.

I have a bum knee (sigh) so I can''t walk too far from the train station and I have never done the bus (too chicken). So somewhere near both stations would be nice! Tea, coffee, dessert, whatever is good! Is there a nice hotel with a tea room near the trains?

We used to meet up at the Rosemont convention center for gem shows, did lunch a couple times right around the area. Other Chicago GTG''s have been done downtown. If you do a search all the threads from past GTG''s should come up so you can see who has attended, where the meetup took place, etc.
