Hi ladies! I need some inspiration! Our great friend will be playing guitar for the ceremony, and I want some non-traditional songs. I am very drawn to the Beatles, because they would sound great slowed down - but I wanted to see what some of you have done/are doing?

Thanks!

I had a mix of traditional/non traditional.

Organ music before the ceremony

Prelude:
Sir Edward Elgar - Enigma Variations No. 9 ''Nimrod''

Processional:
Gustav Holst - The Planets ''Theme from Jupiter''

Signing of the Register:
Ennio Morricone - Playing Love
Dolly Parton - Highlight of my Life

Recessional:
Ralph Butler/Peter Hart - Nellie the Elephant

Our first dance was Bryan Adams'' Heaven (the slow version played by our pianist)

I really want to hire a guitarists to play Bryan Adam''s "Have you really ever loved a woman". The guitar melody in that song gives me goosebumps. Now I just have to find a guitarist!

Pandora, our first dance is that song too! We need to talk to our friend to see if he''s comfortable singing it - but if not, we''ll be using the slow version (with piano) that DJ Sammy did a few years back. That song means a lot to us, and it almost makes me cry everytime I hear it because it was the start of something really special, and I''m happy to see that someone else used that song too!
