I know this is pretty pointless, but I just wanted to share that we planned our ceremony today with the wonderful lady officiating over our ceremony. So exciting!! I am excited about our vow choices, and we''re also going to write a bit of our own. So here''s a question? How long were the ones you wrote? We have the traditional, "I do." Section after our small written section. I was thinking maybe 8 lines? Does that sound good?

You''ll probably find that as you write them, you''ll hit a good length instinctively. I know we did. We wrote ours separately, with no communication on format/content, and both ended up with 220-226 words, and 11 lines. I still haven''t seen or heard FI''s vows, and won''t ''til the wedding day. Our officiant is the only one who''s seen both. He said that they complement each other really well.

So yeah, if we''re any indication, you''ll find the right set of vows as you write them!

Yay! I think it''s such an important part of the whole day that quite often gets overlooked in favour of things like the cake, colour scheme etc, but I really want to put time and effort into the vows that I make to my husband on our wedding day.

I''m glad you have come up with something you are really excited about. It must make it feel a little bit more real now maybe?

Good job, Sarah! I''m happy it''s coming together for you!

how fun and exciting sarah! planning the ceremony was one of the first things we did, and it was definitely the most fun. and i bet your vows will be great!

Just wanted to say thanks y''all! :)
