Cell phone batteries

Do you own more than one battery for your cell phone? Do you keep it charged as a back up to carry around with you for "just in case?"

No, but I carry a charger around with me. I have an android (Samsung Nexus) and the battery life is short so when I am at work I plug it in when necessary and it charges up pretty quickly (around an hour or 2 depending on where I am at the time).

I just use my charger. I have a connector in my car which plays my ipod, so i can put my iPhone on to charge, as required. I brought one into work (I keep it locked up and hidden, as things have been known to "walk away" from cubes...) and I have one at home. I would have no idea how to change an iPhone battery but other brands may be simpler.

I'd just suggest getting an extra charger for an alternate location other than home (as in: one for your car or office)

prior to having the iPhone, I had 3 batteries. I always had a backup on me, and a charger at work and at home.

Best answer!!!! The phone/computer sometimes feel like such intrusions but that is only because we allow them to be. I have such a hard time shutting it all off KWIM? Thank you Yssie!

Ditto this! I've never owned an extra battery, the phone is just not that important. Although I don't think my iPhone has ever died before I had the chance to charge it.
