Are you the godparents? If so, you may want to consider starting a collection of something for the child such as a manger scene. You could purchase one piece at a time, and add to it on special occasions (easter, Christmas, the date of his/her christening each year) so the child will have a keepsake from you.

Kimberly that is a beautiful idea. I think I will do that for my new baby goddaughter, great idea!!
