My latest AHA! moment was when I noticed that the rectangular Tiffany Lucida has much more fire than the square Lucida.

For someone whose favorite shape is the Marquise, I certainly have a lot of pears.

My emerald cut, Old Miss Evil, has more mood swings than I do.

I opened the box to the new ring and was, "Ahhh.. is this it? I remember it being bigger??? Did they switch it on me as a joke?"

My first Aha! moment was when I finally noticed that some people have flashy, sparkly, fiery diamonds . . . not just those ''crushed ice made from cloudy water'' diamonds sold at the local mall. I was never a diamond lover until I saw how beautiful good stones could be.

Second Aha! moment was when we received my finished e-ring; it was a beautiful stone by itself, but the setting made it pop!

Another Aha! moment was my recognition that I personally love the step cuts best of all. Even though I don''t have one. Phooey.
