I am not a penny fan. Amazing reactions I get if I ever try and provide exact change where some of them are pennies. Lots of :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Anyway, would not mind in the least, just not quite sure I can wrap my head around a world without pennies! So $2.49 would become $2.50 and then tax would have to be rounded as well, right? I can't see the government ever allowing taxes to be rounded down... :nono:

But $2.47 would be rounded down, as would the tax.
It's a wash.
 
Yes, they need to go. Australia doesn't have them, and that coupled with the fact that all taxes are already calculated into published prices everywhere, makes life easy. :))
