Hi Everyone!

There are so many creative PS'ers out there, I thought I would enlist some help from you all.

I'M GETTING A NEW PUPPY!!!

DH and I currently have a beagle, and her name is Bailey. We contacted the same breeder we used for her, and put a deposit down on this little fella (look at that face, isn't he the cutest! )

He is only 6 weeks, so we couldn't take him home yet ;( But the plus side, is it gives me some time to come up with a name! Haha

It's a boy. I would love to come up with a cute "B" name so it goes with Bailey, but am open to any fun suggestions. I looked at dog names online and am not crazy about any of them. I feel like I always hear such clever dog names, and now I cant think of any!

I appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Baxter! (Don't know if you are a Will Ferrell fan, but that was the first one that came to mind for me.)

What an adorable baby!!
He looks like a Barney!

awwwww he's a cutie NF!!

I had a friend named Bailey - and we called her brother frangelico. for whatever that's worth. :halo:
I like Barney!
Biscuit?
Baldwin?
Barnaby?

Barnum!

How cute! What about Baxter, Beau, Brady, Buster, Brody, or Byron?

Bugsy, Buster, Ben, Bartleby, Baron, Basel, Beau

sooo cute! What about Buckwheat or maybe just Buck.

He's adorable, NF!

I prefer people names for pets (but that's just me) so this is what I came up with. Yes, some names are weird. :cheeky:

Bob (for some reason, this makes me laugh. My sister knows a dog named Steve and one named Charles, not Charlie, all of which I find hilarious!)
Bill (same as Bob to me)
Ben
Phil
Milo
Brady
Snoopy (courtesy of my husband)
Baxter
Brutus

Beau!

Another vote for Baxter.

He's adorable! YAAAAAY!!!!

Banks?
Biddle?
 :cheeky:

So many great suggestions already. What about:
Brewster
I LOVE Brutus, Zoe! I'd be tempted to say "Et tu, Brute?" every time I let them outside.
Barnacle (Barney for short)
Boris (Ha! I have a human friend named Boris, but it would be a great puppy name)

Whatever you name him, he's going to be a wonderful addition to your family! Congrats!

I'm so in love with "Barnum" that I can't think of anything else. You could call him "Barney".

A friend of mine has a beagle named Barney so I vote for that, or Boudreaux.

Bosley! (I am biased as this is our dog's name!!) I also like Baxter and Barlow. Don't forget to show us pics when he comes home.

Bruno :)

This! When an opportunity like that presents itself, you gotta take it!

He looks like a Bennie to me  However, when I first saw his picture before I read the post, the first name that came to me was "Grover" --- He's soooooo cute.

Soooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!! I have a beagle baby, too (see my avatar--that's Daisy Mae!) Some others mentioned the name Baxter, which I like, but it made me think of Beans Baxter, a character on an '80's t.v. show. What about "Beans?" Beans & Bailey...cute, no?

Another family we know just adopted a tri-color beagle puppy who looks much like your new little one; they've named him "Hunter." Very cute.

Beagles are good at scenting and sniffing out rabbits, and then rounding them up. What about something to do with that? Nosy Parker, Sniffles, Mr. Sniff, Sniffkins, Tracker, (OH I LIKE TRACKER!) etc.?

Good luck with your name search! He's adorable!

The first one that came to mind without reading replies was Barney- I like Baxter too.

Barney
Baxter
Barlow
Brady

Having a "Barnum" and "Bailey" would certainly be unbeatable if we were measuring simply by how unique the names sounded together. I am not wild about the name, "Barnum" for one dog by himself, however.

I had a dog named, "Biscuit", but he was biscuit colored. I still think that's a good name. (Someone suggested that above.)

How about:

Billy
Binney
Boone
Boston
Brady
Brett

Deb/AGBF

I like Biscuit - you can call him Bis for short :)

He is very cute indeed!

I also think Bennett and Bailey sound cute together. He could be Benny or Ben for short. Benji is cute too.

my vote is Byron

Binky!

What about George? (Any "It's a Wonderful Life" fans?)

Banks
Beau (full name Beau Duke OR Beau Diddly)
Boss Hogg
Barnum
Bart
Babar
Brantley
Balto
Beauford (pronounced Byouford)
Buckwheat
Blair (if you name him this I'll laugh)
Baxter
Breed
Bayer (Bay-err)
Blue
Baldwin
Balin (A)the movie Gilda and b) my horse)
Bender
Bowie
