Can’t ship to the US anymore!?

Apparently half this country thrives on all this chaos.

Half the country thinks it's thriving. Looking at it from the sidelines, it seems like the reality of the situation, although somewhat concealed for the time being, is going to hit everyone like a freight train in the not too distant future.

I could be wrong, of course.

Guns are more important than our children.

I recently learned that in the US you can buy a bulletproof backpack insert for school backpacks. For the kids. It's difficult to explain how intensely the feeling of horror overcomes you when this knowledge first settles into your mind.

Oh I don’t think you are wrong at all @Avondale. You and I view this the same way. I’m disgusted by the constant chaos.

I had oral surgery Tuesday, so am stuck at home for a week. Normally my husband and I take our grandniece out to dinner a couple times a week. She is 11 and smart. I’m dreading the discussion she will want to have about this latest shooting. She asked me once how are you supposed to be brave if someone is shooting at you and your friends are dead next to you.

Every parent thinks it could never happen to their child, until it does.
