Red! I'm a few days late in posting this but when I was at Sheryl's last week she had made some new hobos. These are very different than the black and one spotted one that you passed on originally (and that PintoBean now has) but I thought they were cool bags so I wanted to put the pics up for you.

You mean this little beauty that just happens to be sitting here with me right now? I consider this "on loan" though because if someone wanted it I would give it up since I've already got seven (SEVEN!) of them.

Lovedogs, Sheryl just picked up some of the hides with colors like these. She's got a few blue ones right now that are gorgeous! One, with a particular blue swath along the flap edge, calls my name every time I get near! Dee... Dee... You know you want to sling me over your shoulder... Just for a minute... The first fondle is free...

Edit - I am going to have to talk with her pretty soon about a hobo but with smaller overall measurements. She said she could do it but I really want a hide like the spotted one I passed on that PB got I think.

Lovedogs, Sheryl just picked up some of the hides with colors like these. She's got a few blue ones right now that are gorgeous! One, with a particular blue swath along the flap edge, calls my name every time I get near! Dee... Dee... You know you want to sling me over your shoulder... Just for a minute... I just texted Sheryl to ask her if she's taken any pics. If not I can always zip over tomorrow and get a few if she hasn't taken the bags she made from that hide and sold them at a trunk show that (I think) she was doing tonight. That was the only blue hide she was able to get and I thought it was beautiful! More to my taste than the pink ones just because that's a color that I wear a lot.

Sheryl sent me this pic. I almost hate to post it because it is much different in real life -- more vibrant. This coloring looks grey in the pic and it was more blue. Plus the texture looks "flat" here but it's got a lot of textural variation IRL. I think there are other bags available too from this hide with more or less of blue on then (although I'm not sure what she may have sold). If you have any interest in these let me know and I'll go up and take othe pics that I think are more representative.

Sheryl sent me this pic. I almost hate to post it because it is much different in real life -- more vibrant. This coloring looks grey in the pic and it was more blue. You crack me up! I don't think there was any more blue available and she only made a few slings because if she made a tote she'd only get one bag out of the whole thing. But for you my precious Bean I will ask! She was hoping to get some more of the hides like this (remember the orange one she had just gotten the morning that we were there?) from another arm of the franchise she gets them from as the colored hides are flying off the shelves for spring.

ETA: One of my girlfriends and I are trying to plan a trip up tomorrow afternoon. Do you want me to take pics of any of the other colored bags she might have at that time?

Earlier this month I almost bought one of Harriet's hobos, but I took the time to pull out and measure my two favorite purses and found the dimensions of the hobo style is quite a bit larger, comparatively speaking. No matter how beautiful a purse is, I know I won't carry it regularly if it is oversized for my needs.

I inquired whether she had made a hobo with smaller proportions but she never replied further.

If she could fashion a hobo with maybe 2/3 or 3/5 of the horizontal and vertical measurements (with about same width at the bottom), that would be perfect for me...

It's so amazing! But more pics would just further tempt me to buy, and I am trying so so hard to curb my purchases ATM. Bahhh why can't all cows eat blueberries so this is common????

yes, just the overall measurements to be smaller (but about same width at bottom) ... and for me I would want a longer strap, more like 12" but per Sheryl I know strap length is not an issue at all.

Hopefully Sheryl will have something to show redwood66 and then my order can piggyback off that, or maybe it will be vice versa!
