I hope you're not annoyed by this. And I don't mean to take advantage, but I'll ask anyway... you helped out AutumnNovember(?) with lost earrings. I wonder if you could do something similar for me ? I lost my JKT ring a few months ago. It's a Barry round malaya garnet flanked by round peridots, all in green gold bezels. Any idea? And yes, my house is a mess.

Here's a pic. I live in NH and I think of this ring as my "NH ring", because it's a blend of colors that I see by the stream in our backyard. My family and I spend a lot of happy times out there.

I got the malaya from Barry, an awesome guy as you know. So lots of positive vibes on that stone and I asked Julia (JKT) to pair it with side stones the color of the moss along the banks of our stream, so she did it with peridots. It was all a very happy experience.

Don't know if that helps any...

I take my rings off to put hand lotion on or to wash my hands and I usually put them right back on but sometimes I get distracted. My kids are always with me and they're awesome but they're busy. Gosh, I only had this ring for about 2.5 months. I haven't worn it since probably August.

Yeah, you could be wrong and I will keep an eye out for it, but I'm getting a similar vibe. It feels like it's gone. So strange because it was so special, I thought I'd always have it. And actually, up until yesterday I thought it was still around. But then I scoured all the spots that it could be, and nothin'. Hmm... kind of pissed of, not the girl's fault. I'm sure she just found it, but it's mine ! And she probably doesn't appreciate it! Sorry, now I'm sulking.

BTW- I never got through all the possible boxes looking for my missing ring- DH has built a castle pretty much with all the boxes and some were book filled and heaaavvvvy! The one I felt was the most likely (very spoon infested, lol- and was filled with stuff from around where my ring went MIA) is of course under and behind all of those. I can see it, but he's gonna have to help me get at it, that's for sure. I'll definitely let you know how it goes though, if it turns up

Thank you iLander, dragonfly, and you too davi! Itis getting late and I'm getting fuzy headed as well.

Here are my impressions... in terms of the hospital possibility, iLander... I'm a nurse and I worked at the local hospital, but I'm home full-time with my kids right now and haven't worked in a couple of years and I don't recall being in that hospital since the summer. My husband works in a clinic, so I'll think about that some more.
There is no white tile in my house so that tile isn't something you're seeing in my home.
There is fresh white snow outside and I spend a lot of time at that stream during the spring, summer and fall, so it could be there.
There is white tile at the Shaw's here, dragonfly, so it could be there.
But my strongest feeling is at the park. I went there a lot with my 2 little ones through the summer and a few times in September. I remember wearing my ring there. There's a bathroom there, recently renovated and I'm almost positive the floor tile is white. I used that BR a few times and I would have taken the ring off and popped it into my pocket before washing my hands. It could have fallen off there, likely did as I'm always running after my 2 year old.

I'll put a sign up with a reward there when they open up again in the spring. Not real hopeful that that will help, but anyway.

Thank you, Davi! Pudgy baby hands are always reaching for my hands, so you're right there. We do have a floor lamp and I'm always changing diapers on the ground not far from that lamp. I will definitely ask my oldest if he's seen the ring. I think the youngest is too little to "get" it.

ps sort of off topic but a few weeks ago when i was hurting after the death of my LaHonda girl kitty i was talking with a woman i only know superficially and she handed me a stone for some healing...a type of serpentine from russia from what she said.....set in a ring. i swear that when i touched the stone to my palm i felt a charge of energy go from the middle of my chest and across and then down my arms.....and it was definitely a healing feeling.

My family and I have had an odd week. One week ago today, we lost a beloved pet. There have been a lot of feelings of guilt, regret and sadness. It was difficult for my husband and I but also for our 4 yr old. It's hard to explain death to a child, and to not be able to fix the pain of their loss. So, the "energy" in our house has been off.

Around this time I was following Italia(?)'s thread about her house creeping her out, and it creeped me out. I believe people can have a 6th sense and I'm comfortable with that, but I'm terrified of anything that has to do with ghosts, spirits, demons, whatever. So for the past week, I've had this scary, unsettled feeling in my house. A weird, negative vibe. Added to this, my 4 year old won't go anywhere in the house alone (ie, won't go alone upstairs to pee) because he's afraid of "monsters". Don't get me wrong, I don't think my house is haunted or anything, I think I'm easily spooked and a little stressed after the loss of our pet (we're all feeling a bit better about that BTW). And I think in my son's case, he's watched a lot of Scooby Doo and has an overactive imagination.

To wrap it up, I felt scared and prayed to God to keep whatever negative vibe I was feeling away from me, and my family. As I say, I don't think there is anything truly bad going on, I think it's just been an unsettling week. So I think I unintentionally blocked you out as well. Sounds crazy, but I believe it. Sorry iLander!

I think you've given yourself the willies , I do that too, which is why I never watch scary movies. Can't deal with that!

I remember my DS once creeped me out: when we were on an airplane, he kept saying "Plane fall down" repeatedly. It was a small plane so Everybody heard it. Needless to say, plane didn't fall down. I think around 4 is when kids start to develop the concept of fear, which is a necessary survival instinct, don't you think? Perfectly normal. Wait until he hits the nightmares phase, that is REALLY annoying. Just give him a self-assured, "everything's fine, no such thing as monsters" and change the subject. Don't pay too much attention to it, or he will think it is something that needs to be paid attention to. It's not. It's just a phase. Get some night lights.

As far as Italia's thread, I don't think she has ghosts. Because I don't believe in ghosts.
