I didn't want to threadjack BEGs thread...but I see you're going to Switzerland soon!?
I would love to know some details of your trip. I lived in Luzern for a year as an exchange student and the die Schweiz holds a very special place in my heart. Please share, and I'd love to offer some tips as I've pretty much toured the whole country. :)

CHARBIE! Please, share any tips you have, lady! I would love to hear them, seriously, bring 'em on!

As of right now, the only thing I know about our trip is that we're flying into Belgium and out of Switzerland. Other than that, I've got NOTHING.

I'm really slacking with the planning, if you can't tell. DH and I really love to take it slow and get to know a place. We like to eat  and we're really outdoorsy--we do a lot of bicycling, hiking, etc. We only have ten days of actual travel time there, so it's not ideal, but we're cutting it close by flying back on the first day of my school year.

You lived in Luzern for a year?! Wow, that sounds wonderful. I'd love to see any pictures you want to share, too.

Thank you so much for starting this thread!

Two things:

1. Go to Brugge (skip Brussels)
2. Go sky diving in Switzerland!!! We went out of a helicopter in Interlaken and it was definitely a bucket-list moment.

So excited for you and your trip!!!

Oh well then Switzerland is the place for you! There is so much outdoorsy stuff to do in Switzerland! Im biased, but I recommend everyone make a stop in Luzern. On one side of the city are the rolling hills leading to the Alps, then the other side is the Alps. You can take a boat trip around the lake...its called the Vierwaldstaadtersee. There's also lots of canyoning trips, rafting, hang gliding...all of that is in Interlaken. I also recommend a trip to Thun....it is a gorgeous little town. Gosh, all the towns in Switzerland are just so quaint and cute. It is a country where you can just go so far off the beaten trail and always find something amazing.
I will go through my things bc im sure I will think of so many things you could do or see. It is such a small country, but filled with so many amazing things. And absolutely breath-taking.
