I am thinking about selling my 2005 Rolex Oyster Perpetual 76080 and I have no idea how to price it or what I can reasonably expect to get on the secondhand market. It's in excellent, almost new condition as I never wear a watch. Current list pice is $4,800. I have the box, papers, and the tag, and it's in good working order. I would welcome any help or advice as I know NOTHING about watches!!

Thanks for chiming in, DF!

So, is that what I should expect to get if I sold it myself or what I should expect to get from a watch dealer? I assume I would get more if I sold it myself??

there was one sold on a watch forum last month and the asking price was $1500 but it wasn't as nice as yours,so my guess would about $1800.

I don't think going with a watch dealer is the way to go. I would sell it yourself. I agree with DF $1800 or there about seems spot on for this model. Good luck!!! :))

Thanks, DF and Kaleigh. It's confusing because there is such a range of prices and I don't know enough to know what makes one watch more valuable than another one that is seemingly the same. I've gotten a few quotes from dealers and the highest I got was $1600 -- would I only get an additional $200 selling it on my own??

I was thinking of listing it on Timezone -- does anyone know if that is a good forum?
