I am a very low maintainance person. Three weeks ago I decided to splurge and get a pedicure. It was GREAT! I got a french pedi which looked so nice and clean. Today I am trying to remove the polish myself. Funny thing is...the polish comes off but not the white lines. I am using Cutex Quick and Gentle Non-Acetone Remover. The cotton pads are tuning purple, as well as my fingers, yet the "french" doesn''t come off. Whats the deal? My fingers look like I have dipped them in ink?

did they air-brush the white line on? its simple, all you have to do is to try either Alcohol and rub or take a buffer or a very soft file and file it off :) Also, the non-Acetone polish remover you have might not be strong enough to do the job. I only use 100% acetone on my clients, i don't have to rub all day to get the polish to comoe off :)

no problems there! :) It will come off :)

Thanks! They hand painted the white stuff on..I will try the alcohol. What do you thing is turning me all purple?

I also only use 100% acetone (I''m not a nail tech, but I''ve had a lot of french mani''s)

With that said, I think it REALLY helps. For some reason the white also wouldn''t come off me as well until I went out and bought more of the 100% acetone.

Yup. Acetone is good. I even use it on my acrylics.
