Hi everyone-

What kind of bustle would you suggest going with for my dress? As you can see, the only embellishments are near the bottom, so I''d like to keep those visible. I like the look of a French pick-up bustle...would that look okay?
Also, is this a chapel train?

I think the pickup would be very nice.

I think a french bustle would look nice, but I also think a traditional bustle (where it''s pulled up to near the rear end and hangs down in a triangle shape) would be a nice way to show the detailing since it seems like the detailing is in a triangle shape.

I had thought about the traditional as well, because of the shape of the detailing. The only pictures I''ve seen of traditional bustles have attached the train to the buttons on the back of the dress, though, and my dress doesn''t have buttons. Is there a way around that?

Yes, the seamstress sews a hook (like on the back of a bra) on the train and a loop below your butt, or the locations of the hook and loop can be switched. The bustle is created by putting the hook through the loop. Often there will be three or more attachment points to help spread out the weight of the train.

Edited to hopefully be clearer and more correct.
