Ooops on that last post, i hit enter too quickly.
Anyhow, i wanted to get your opinion on what color roses i should have for my girls. I want my bouquet to be just red roses with a white ribbon thing covering the stem where you hold it, (not sure how to say that)- and my dress is traditional white, their dresses are red but Im having trouble picking what color their flowers should be.

Attached is a link to their dresses................and im stuck on what color flowers to get them?
Can they have just smaller bouquets of red roses too? like mine but small versions?
Should they have just white roses?
Should they have a mix of red, yellow, pink and orange?
Also, should my centerpieces match my flowers or their flowers? geez i need a lot of help!

The wedding is next July _

Thanks, i appreciate all your feedback!

Cute dresses! Do you have any other colors you want to incorporate into your wedding? I think white would really stand out, but to me it seems more Christmas-y than summer. Red might blend in too much... I guess it depends on if you want the flowers to be noticed or not.

Here are some pictures that might work:

Hope this helps

Beautiful BM Dress!

I guess it would depend on your wedding colors/theme...I had the same problem and after discussing with my floral designer, he suggested red only be for the bride or groom (i will carry a boquet of red roses and groom will have red rose boutineer) Our bridal party will have red/orange/ivory roses and groomsmen will have ivory boutineer to be more distinguished.

IMO red roses would be nice for you and FI and bridal party could have red/white or mixture color of roses. Im sure those colors would also look nice against the red BM dresses.

musincy - thank you!
now, these options are for their bouquets right?
My only colors are red and white. I want it simple, elegant, so i dont have any other colors really.
My plan right now is to have white linens, white chair covers, white satin bows, white napins, and a red rose centerpieces with white candles and red rose petals on the table (around the centerpieces) so very simple / yet elegant, thats why i was thinking all white white white and then the red centerpieces will "pop" to match their dresses and my flowers.

THis is just a vision in my head - i haven''t seen anything perfect yet, but this is what im thinking -

so were these options you sent for colors on their flowers?

or what if i did mine red and the girls a mix (like red, orange, pink) then could i have ANY of those three colors for the groomsmen?
and my groom would have red to match me?

Yes, those were suggestions for colors/bouquets, but if you want just red and white, those clearly won''t work :)

I like the simplicity of white flowers. Do you just want roses or do you want the girls to have something a little different? Calla lilies are still very formal, but different than the roses you will be carrying. I personally love hydrangeas, but they feel a little more laid-back in my opinion. YOu have a lot of options if you want just white flowers.

Check out these links. There are lots of beautiful options here, I''m sure you could find something you''d like.

Also, thanks for the compliments on the BM dresses, it was very important to me to find a BM dress that
1) they would love
2) they would not be tooooo hot in (july wed)
3) they will wear again.

Actually my maid of honor will wear this one (perfect for her body type/comfort)

and my bridemaids will wear this one. BOTH are in the New Red Color though (perfect for their body types/comfort)

thats a good idea too, there are so many options, i wish i knew what exactly i wanted or could find the perfect thing i love.
you know? i guess i shouldn''t worry - i have plenty of time : )

I know how you feel... I''m super picky about flowers. I used to work for a gardening company, so I definitely want my flowers to be something special. Have you tried talking to a florist? If you explain your situation, they might have some great suggestions.
