Do you gravitate to one type of jewelry over others? I tend to love rings, with earrings the second item I tend to be drawn toward. I’m trying to grow my bracelet collection and have to remind myself that I only have so many fingers and ears to adorn :lol:

What do you love? Do you indulge or try to even out your collection?

Ok ok ok ok... I'm the one who voted ALL and "other" : I've been wanting a tiara for the longest time. I am lingering on the auction sites and hope I find a beautiful one for less than 25 l ( premium included).

I knew there would be some tiara and brooch lovers out there!
 
Rings and necklaces… I’ve lost too many earrings over the years so keep those inexpensive. I like the idea of bracelets but they often get in the way… I like the look of watches but stopped wearing one regularly years ago… so that leaves rings and necklaces :)
 
HI:

Earrings are my jam. I don't wear rings or bracelets to work or while exercising, but earrings are easy. I like a little flash under my bike helmet!

also bracletes but ive had bad luck losing braclete :(2 :boohoo: and they are a real bas*ard to do up :angryfire: so i just mostly wear a silver culf

necklases - but one cannot see them


earings -i guess i have fun working out combos with 3 pairs of piercings but of late im leaving them at home as im scared ill loose them wearing a mask :doh:

other - because id secretly love a tiara :lol-2:
edit wanting and waiting for the brooch to come back as a thing !
 
Can we count bangles as well? I ADORE bangles! I own like one jade bead bracelet but I LOVE LOVE LOVE bangles!!!!!!

Huge fan of rings too but since the pandemic have been finding the whole hand sanitiser thing tricky so bangles are my chosen form of self expression right now!
 
Rings for fine jewelry because it gives me pleasure looking at it.

For me necklaces, whether it be fine jewelry or fashion, are a fun/easy way to accessorize outfits.
 
I was in love for many years with collecting ladies vintage watches. Mainly because I was seeing them sold “as scrap” and that, to me, was outrageous. I got up to about 70 watches before DH said enough. No more extras until some others go. So I have reduced my collection somewhat but always sold them for more than melt value to discourage that happening with the next custodian.
Some of them were non working so they needed a new life so I’ve turned some into bracelets.
Currently I’m into bracelets.
I’m turning some watches into bracelets and some brooches into bracelets.
Rings I keep buying and I shouldn’t. I have way too many and not enough fingers or outings to justify buying more.
I still have heaps of gems in need of a setting so I’m buying settings rather than ready made rings.
i like bracelets and rings because I get to enjoy looking at them.
 
Everything calls to me lol. But pendants/necklaces probably the least, because I find them difficult to wear casually, and earrings the most. I am planning on getting a couple more piercings so that I can wear multiple pairs at a time.
 
Everything, at one time or another! As I get older, I’m finding that earrings and bracelets are higher up on the list, mostly because my hands are getting more arthritic and rings have become annoying to wear. I now have a hankering for a really nice watch……..

Earrings. I love earrings. I love the feel of my dangles going swish swish swish ever so gently. Makes me feel pretty and feminine and flirty. I love catching glimpses of them on my ears. I love the romance that earrings represent to me. I love that any day is a good earring day. My ears don’t swell like my fingers. Earrings always fit. AndI have fun mixing and matching depending on my mood. For all these reasons and more this is why I’m an earring girl. :kiss:
 
And diamond studs make me feel sophisticated and grown up. :bigsmile:

Very difficult question and I’m so glad you asked.
I feel like everyone else has a groove.
I don’t.
Except for the following order of magnitude.
I can’t leave the house without a necklace and earrings.
Full stop.
But then, for myself, I enjoy rings and bracelets the most for the obvious reason that I can admire them throughout the day.
So.
If I’m dashing out to drop off at school or I’m late for work it’s (1) earrings (2) necklace.
These are non-negotiable even if the house is on fire!
If I have 30 more seconds then it’s (3) rings (4) bracelets (5) watch
In that order.
 
RINGS. I want to be able to see the sparkle at all times! All my earrings, necklaces, and bracelets are costume jewelry. Someday I hope to get the basics in those categories, though. I'd love a pair of diamond studs, a tennis bracelet, and necklaces that I don't have to take off before getting into the shower :lol:

There is something so special about a beautiful ring you can ogle at

I like earrings, then necklaces - I wear them everyday

I’d like to have a daily bracelet but haven’t found it yet, but bracelets feel “special occasion”
 
Rings are my favorite because I like to be able to look at them and I love the familiar weight of my watch (I feel naked without it on).
I like bracelets in theory because they are fun to admire but I don't like wearing them because they get in the way, I fear losing them, putting them on is a hassle, and you can't see them when you wear long sleeves/jackets (not to mention they get dirty due to long sleeves).

Earrings, as I am very hard on rings and bracelets. I also have trouble finding used rings and bracelets that would fit size 8+ fingers and large wrists.
 
For me I only want one e-ring and one substantial wedding band/RHR (I like to wear ER and wedding band on separate hands).

But I love having multiple earrings, necklaces and bracelets. My goal is to have one piece I adore in each metal color for each of these stations (ears, neck, wrist.)

I also love brooches! But I only need/want one blingy one (I'm saving up for the Tiffany's large dragonfly! Its my holy grail brooch!)

I don't have a strong desire to own a watch until after my other core foundation pieces have been acquired. Someday I'd like a vintage Patek Philippe, something small. I don't like watches with large/masculine faces, my wrists are too tiny to successfully pull off the boyfriend watch look.

I selected rings and necklaces. Can you have too many? Necklaces With diamond pendants, yum. I’m ordinary with regard to earring, where same pair everyday. i forsee a tennis bracelet with fancies in my future. Possibly a watch.
