Big earthquake in So Cal

We got quite a jolt. I''m about 15 miles from the epicenter. They are reporting it as a 4.7.

Some things fell, but nothing major. I hear lots of sirens.

No, I''m the opposite direction of Disney Studios.

But, after analyzing incoming data, my workplace is about 300 yds from a 2.5 aftershock. (Which is just under the Air Force base in El Segundo.)

Not sure what my workplace will look like tomorrow. I have a storage room filled with boxes and stuff. I might have a big mess to deal with tomorrow.

We''re only about 10 miles from the epicenter, but it didn''t seem "big" to me. Though I don''t have a lot to base it off of, this is the first one I''ve felt since moving here (it''s taken way too long). A few seconds of vibration followed by another few (maybe 3?) of actual shaking, but even though things were moving, nothing fell.

My husband''s work is only 2 or so miles from the epicenter (of the 5.0 or 4.7, I''m seeing conflicting stuff, not the aftershock), so I''m waiting for him to let me know whether there was any issue there, though I sincerely doubt it.
