I've been pestering my jeweler to share their cleaning solution brand, because my ring always looks AMAZING after a dip in their ultrasonic. I finally got one of the new SAs to slip me a piece of paper with the info: Gesswein Multipurpose Solution. I've always been uphappy with my at-home ultrasonic, (crappy Gemoro model) but with the Gesswein, my rings are soooo sparkly and bright. :) I let my babies sit in the double-strength solution while I shower, then let them run through 2 cleaning cycles. Let the debris settle for 10-15 minutes, then rinse and dry.

Anyone else use Gesswein? Or... better yet.... Have you tried Gesswein but found something even better? Do tell!

Oh, and I throw my keys in the ultrasonic on occasion. Anyone else do that?

which Mr Clean product?

1/8 lemon mr. clean and 1/8 lemon palmolive dish soap plus 3/4 hot water.

I use hot water (the heat is key!) with a teeny tiny drop of super-concentrated dish soap.

The ammonia free one if you have white gold. It's the bright yellow one. I can't tell on their website if there's one with ammonia in it, or if they're all ammonia free but mine actually says ammonia free.

I have that one, but doubted for some reason that it could be the one referred to here. Thanks for the clarification! :wavey:
