best place to buy gold chains/necklaces

My MIL lost her necklace with the grandkid's (inexpensive) pendants. For xmas we want to replace those pendants and put it on a most likely 18" white gold chain. I was going to buy it at Amazon unless someone else had a good suggestion for chains.

Rio Grande and Ottofrei sell gold chains. They are reputable. I am always a little leery of Amazon marketplace, since anyone can sell there.

Sam's Club has an 18" white gold box chain for $79 right now. Not sure what price point you're looking for, but I would go with either SC or Costco, who has a great return policy from what I have read here.

Thanks everyone! network at work is having problems so didn't have time to respond. I think we are going to wait on this. She may want to pick out charms in person, so we will do that first, so we know metal type and color before we proceed.
