Bday gift ideas for a 6 yr old boy

Well my daughter has 2 bday parties to go to and I don''t have a clue what a 6 yr old boy would like. Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Lego set.
They love those mini cars and trucks, like hot wheels. they often like to get a few of those rather than one big truck.
My boys used to love to play some of the simpler board games, like Candy Land or Kiddie Monopoly--but make sure they have siblings that will play the game with them.

I have a boy who''s about to be 6. He and his friends are all into Bakugan, superheros (Spiderman and Batman are the biggies), Star Wars and Transformers.

Our 5 yrs old nephews love Transformers, a lot of superhero (wolverine, iron man, batman, etc), cars, and lego set.

I teach that age. If you want to get a book, boys like FACTS, not fiction.
You can''t go wrong with simple text paperbacks on sharks or snakes. I read one on snakes this afternoon on circle. No one took their eyes off the illustrations the whole time.

Legos or. . .possibly, instead Legos!

Both my kids and almost all their friends love them. An alternative would be Pokemon cards (ask the mom about those just to be sure that child is into them).
