We used Jane Evenson as our photographer (here is her website). We thought she was great, and she has several different packages with and without photo albums. We ended up just buying the negatives and not getting prints from her. Some photographers charge absurd amounts for the negatives (like, $1000) so you are forced to buy the prints from them. I think we got the negatives from her for $250.
Hi - we are using Cynthia and Bill from B5 Studios
We found their prices to be very reasonable (relatively speaking) and they included everything that was important to us - digital negatives, all day coverage, two photographers, photojournalistic style but will still to formal shots, attention to detail, and ability to convert to black and white and/or sepia. Also, I wasn''t really into the idea of an album until I saw theirs - they both have graphic design backgrounds and so they make GORGEOUS albums, and you can review the layouts and give feedback before its printed, which FI and I both like the idea of. Finally, Cynthia is the person who corresponds with you by e-mail and she is super-responsive and nice - I''ve never had to wait more than a day to hear back from her on anything, and yet she is very no-pressure - they meet with you, show you their stuff, and then leave it up to you. Hope that helps!
Our photographer was Andy Berry from Orange Photography. He was AWESOME and we adore him...we are still friends with him. He flew with us to Hawaii and gave us a great deal on a package. At the time their prices were SO affordable compared to some of the others I liked (aka Dekker) but I know they have taken off since then so I am not sure re: pricing now. However, I would highly recommend checking them out. He's the best and so friendly. He was Greg's age so we felt really close to him...we all hit it off right away and when we decided to move the wedding to Hawaii, we asked him what he thought about coming and he said of course!
