Baltimore Pricescopers, anyone in need of two lovely, fluffy Norwegian Forest Cats? If I didn''t live thousands of miles away, I''d want to cuddle these guys! Looks like their family''s "two legged baby" developed severe breathing problems and now they''re in need of a home.

Me too! I can''t get over the colors of the orangey one, and they sound like such loves! Maybe we''ll come upon the right PSer who needs some more floof in her life!

Oh my goodness those are some gorgeous kitties! I wish I could have unlimited kitties! I would take these 2 boys and the mama kitty Lynn B posted about, too!

Now does that include the bathrooms?

I would love a kitty for each room! But I think that might be too many kitties for my not-so-huge house...I have 3 now and I am constantly wanting to rescue more! But I feel like I wouldn''t be able to pay enough attention to more than 3!

I will ask. I would take them, but of course the decision is not mine alone. That would make 4!

Radiantquest, you just made my afternoon! Oh, keep us updated, I hope it works!

4 seems like a good number. That would be more than one for every room in my apt, counting the bathroom!

I need to speak with the owners of these kitties. If I am going to have a sucessful campaign to get them I need a lot more information. He will have questions and I need to already have the answers. They look like they will need alot of upkeep and he will not go for that.

Novel- I followed the link, but wasn''t sure who the owner would have been. Is there a way you can put me in contact?

Radiantquest - I can understand that. Long hairs can be tough. I don''t know the owners, just follow the blog they were on. Can you email the Humane Society that runs the blog? I don''t know if I can list the email here, but its on the sidebar of the site under "I''m thinking about adopting!!!". It isn''t clear to me if they''re at the shelter already or still at their home.

Let me know if I can help more! Good luck, and thanks!

These are some pretty kitties. I would take them in a heartbeat if I could.

radiantquest-just a little info about long-haired kitties! I have 3 and they are really very easy-the same as short haired kitties for the most part. I actually have always had short haired cats until 3 long-haired kitties in a row found me! I only really need to brush one of my three cats because she can get dreadlocks in her ruff. It really just depends on their type of fur.

I googled Norwegian Forest Cats and found this on the Cat Fancier''s website:

"A question frequently asked is about the care the long coats require. As one breeder is fond of saying: “Mother Nature does not have hairdressers in the deep woods, so she did not design the cat to require the daily attention necessary to some other longhaired breeds.” Very little, if any, combing is required for non-show cats, but is recommended during spring shedding."

Hope this helps!

Also, I found this e-mail on the sidebar of the blog and I''m assuming that''s where you e-mail to inquire about adoptions. [email protected]

Thanks for the info, thing2of2! I actually didn''t know that about longhairs, either. I was hesitant to list the email (newbie forgetting forum rules) so I''m so glad you did! I hope it works out...

Ohhhh, they are GORGEOUS!!!

I absolutely LOVE NFCs, and I do live close to Baltimore! But, with three dogs in the house (one of whom does not do well with cats), I just don''t think it would work.

RQ, I soooo hope you get them!!!

** bump ** for the kitties!

I am not allowed to take them

He said the we do not have the room, which is true. To me I feel that the more the merrier, but he is right. We honestly don''t even have a place to put another litter box. He said that if I got those 2 I would have to get rid of the 2 I already have.

I am so sorry to get every ones hopes up and then not be able to take them. I will ask around though and see if there is anyone else I know that may be able to.

Aw, Radiantrequest, we understand! Don''t feel bad! You tried. And one can really only house so many kitties without getting to the cat in every room stage! Thanks for trying.
