Back from Vegas and Engaged

Hi Ladies,

Well my suspicions about Vegas were true....he finally asked !!!

It was very simple - he asked over dinner at the Venetian where we were staying. He had big plans to ask me at the top of the Eiffel tower at the Paris casino that fell apart when I stubbornly refused to go back out again for the night. It was only 33 degrees out there at night....brrrrr! So, plan B was this.

I am super excited about it....I''ve been waiting 8 years. We''ve been though me finishing undergrad, me doing grad school, a couple of job changes, and building a house together. So, it''s nice to finally be in this place together.

Seems like the Venetian is a popular place for weddings and engagements - not a big surprise though. The property is gorgeous and very romantic.
