Some of us can get away with eating more junk food...others have problems with healthy foods - like, even though almonds are suppose to be healthy, every time I eat them, my nose gets all itchy. Food allergy!
The one thing all of us probably don't do enough of that we could benefit from is drinking more water. That's said to increase energy levels and plump up cells so they're healthy! I notice when I drink more, I feel better and more alert.
This. I refuse to be afraid of food, go with Julia Child's advice to eat what you want, but everything in moderation. I can't stand the castrated butter-substitutes; I use real butter, but in moderation, e.g. Exercise is essential for me, though -- if I do it regularly I can eat pretty much whatever I like. Plus am tons less tense.Lotus99|1335467704|3181609 said:Sure, a diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables and little fat/meat is supposedly the ideal, but it's not a guarantee you won't drop dead of a heart attack or that you'll live to 100.

I know a vegetarian whose cholesterol is through the roof.![]()
But I am a big believer in vitamins, I think they are like fertilizer for people, and without them, you won't thrive. I only take a B and a multi every day, but without them, I'm a listless mess.
